After all, plenty of Mac users don’t bother with antivirus, erroneously thinking they don’t need it. However, just because Windows is a juicy target doesn’t mean the bad guys won’t ever go after your Mac. Microsoft works continually to patch holes in Windows security, but malware coders work just as continually to find new ways to breach security. If you say that your computer got infested with malware, people will probably assume you’re talking about a PC.

Then save your profile and deploy with your MDM of choice, or if you have Jamf, upload it directly to your Jamf Pro Server (that feature is particularly nice!). Just drag the ESET Endpoint Antivirus or Security app into it and select Allow for the All Files permission. I used Jamf’s marvellous PPPC Utility to make a quick profile and upload it to my Jamf Pro Server.
